Bremen University
The only state university in Bremen awarded the project to modernize the TYPO3 website in October 2016.
The client wanted a modern positioning of the university on the web, a transparent, responsive, animating and barrier-free presentation of the content as well as a functioning target group approach.
The more than 300 editors also wanted extensive flexibility in the creation of "their" pages.
A Participatory Approach Ensured the Success of the Relaunch
The implementation process was supported by everyone involved and led to success. A mixture of classic and agile project management in cooperation with the various decision-making groups at the university proved to be effective.
The portal is now fresh and modern. The new design follows a design line that is clear and yet clearly takes into account the desire for variety.

- Migration: News, forms, calendar data and emails - what was relevant in the "old" system is also available in the new system.
- Load test before going live: 20,000 students, 2,300 scientists, 1,000 employees - all of them require high-performance access to the website.
